Rogan is also a hit and miss for me. Some interviews great. Others not so much. I find he alters his opinion based on who he is speaking too. It's irritating.

Yeah I can see that. I think he might just feel like he's usually talking to people who are a lot smarter than him so he kind of concedes the point a lot.
