I want to build and have a high quality and valuable reading list not only for myself but for people that may run into this post. Therefore, I would love to know one of your favorite books of all time?
Btw...this is a GREAT question!
Thank you, I thought it would be useful for people across time to come, visit, and sharpen themselves intellectually.
@OrderOutofChaos That was my first thought when I saw where it was going. I hardly read fiction anymore but it is still difficult to find good authors.
This is a challenging question because I have enjoyed so many good reads through my life... I have decided on: Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl ... finding meaning in life regardless of the circumstances
Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand
100 Years of Solitude, Gabriell Garcia Marcos
The Sparrow, Mary Doria Russell
Agents of Chaos, Issac Asmov
Anna Karina, Leo Tolstoy
To Kill a Mocking Bird, ? The US Constitution
So many many fabulous books out there...
“Witness” by Whitaker Chambers. Best written book of the 20th Century in the form of a letter written to his children to explain why he became a communist, underground spy and his decision to escape. Incredible book. I have read it about 6x over the last 20 years. He is also an incredible writer.
The Gulag Archipelago, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
Most influential books on my life? “Bible and Mere Christianity”
A short but incredible read. You'll never believe the difficulties, perseverance and impossibility of their amazing adventure. Truly astonishing!
