I'm amazed! At first I thought this was just a ploy to cash in on a niche group to draw them to a dating site. I'm so happy to be wrong. This is the coolest social network I've seen in years. It reminds me of when AOL had a member search feature that let you search all the member profiles for the specific key words that you put in and even show ones that were online live at that moment. You could find people knowledgeable in any topic imaginable to engage in chats. Never have I found that great a social network people search and conversation feature again. Not sure how deep this network can get close to that but already it's far more than I imagined.

My concern for our country is vote suppression by the left; illegals, minors, corruption at the polling locations, and lack of accountability of county and state election departments from respective Secretary’s of States, and US Department of Justice. I work the polls and have witnessed a flood of illegals and unregistered persons attempting to vote! They are given the choice of Provisioal Ballot, this is a test for weakness at each polling location, and the Democrats goal is continue this trend in 2020. Voters must hold their respective polling locations to account! Do not keep quiet when you hear or see corruption of a vote, complain to election judge, call the county party HQ, and your Secretary of State offices and report. Better yet, volunteer to be a Poll Watcher assigned by Republican Party or a candidate. See something say something!

Hi there, I’m new to IDW and excited to be here. I’ve gotten very frustrated at all the crazy in the mainstream media. It’s like watching a scary movie where the actors won’t wake up and see the monster around the corner. It’s a bunch of people who wield a great deal of power through the privilege of their visibility, but who are run by their amygdala. We are fed fear and reactivity which will only serve to further divide. I lean more conservative and libertarian, but every time I sit down with a liberal we actually have a conversation that, if replicated publicly, has potential for healing this divide. Most people are not crazy from my experience. Most people are uninformed, and that counts me sometimes. What I would do to be a part of a visible, public forum having discussions and debates aimed at finding the truth. The prerequisite is, one needs to be willing to be wrong. The truth is far more important than anyone’s ego or a group’s collective ego/identity. The mainstream media drives the fear that perpetuates the tribalism. This has to stop. Thanks to the Intellectual Dark Web for being the movement of truth and sanity.

I think this place should be treated as a mental dojo if you will, under the principles of a good idea doesn't need to be defended it defends itself. Meaning, that all content, ideas, comments, should be brought forth knowing they will be picked about and critiqued.

Before I can give accurate thoughts on the how you should best position this site so as to live up to the ideals of the IDW, I should maybe find some ideals of the IDW.
I’ve watched some members and am curious at this point. I am also very busy here in Canada trying to stay alive as we fell prey to ideological idiots, similar to the young democrats in the US. Don’t let them run the country. Seriously. Organized crime will control them and the majority of the population will loose.

Hello! My name is Scottie D and I hail from New Hampshire. I heard of this bastion of refuge from a Daisy Cousins video I watched today. This is the exact thing that -what I consider to be "my side" of the U.S.- needs to have productive conversations and be able to mingle and associate with people who have been fed up with the oppressive, cancellation-oriented, judgmental people who seem to be infesting our nation and polluting the minds of our children and, let's face it, our easily manipulated adults. Whom, I might add, are far greater in number that I would've ever dreamed. I fancy myself a Conservative that has a libertarian leaning. I'm also a God-fearing man with a hopefully good head on my shoulders. I'm not dumb enough to fall for the insane rhetoric leftists are pushing nowadays so if nothing else, it's a good start. I enjoy satire as well as meaningful, intellectual conversations. I hope the people that find this corner of the interwebs find a sense of relief in the ability to have and share diverse thoughts without the constant need to walk on eggshells, in constant fear that the wrong person might see an opinion they disagree with and subsequently get a keyboard army of butthurt strangers to jam their fee-fees in one's face. Stuff gets old quick.

I hope you own your own servers, as Big Tech, the corrupt press, and the bureaucracy, the real Deep State, are terrified of losing power. This is very much like when the Party of , began the Civil War, in response to losing the election to Lincoln, who they later murdered.
The control of the corrupt press was enough to deceive enough voters to steal the election. There have always been ballot stuffing in major Democrat ruled cities, but this time to press had been subverted as well.
A Democrat recently suggested re-education camps for children of Republicans to undo the racist indoctrination. I suspect that this was allowed in the press to threaten us to get in line. Most unionized school districts have already turned public schools into socialist re-education centers.
These socialists are driven to consolidate their victory, having learned the lesson of allowing Hillary to fail. They will do all they can to silence us and to guarantee their control of the election process. As Putin would tell us, "free elections are far too dangerous to ever allow again. To maintain order, people must be kept in check by the trusted bureaucracy, such as the BATF, IRS, CIA, EPA, DEA, and FDA."
The results are third world like cities where many of the inmates have no legal place to toilet, creating the health risks of a third world village. A new surge of illegals will soon swamp the resources of even more cities, requiring more taxes and more centralized government control. These illegals voted in the corrupt governments that destroyed the economies of where they come from and now they want to vote in people giving them the same promises here. Can you survive long enough to make a difference?

What I most want to see is the REAL freedom to post my thoughts without having to worry about being sensored or blocked.

Don't allow groups to restrict new users from posting based on site wide gamified metrics. Contributing to and participating in communities shouldn't be "work", or quid pro quo of platform engagement. Let people contribute and develop their profiles organically.

I signed up specifically to share something to a specific group but cannot unless I'm "Level 3+", I'm sure over time I'll get there but c'mon. Sometimes the stuff people want to share can be potentially time sensitive.

The point system is constricting people don't need a incentive to comment
