People like Carolla etc should cease to comment on things they don't understand properly.
There are many things that affect infection rates.
The US rates are pretty high already, so the impact of lockdowns etc are going to be affected by that just for starters.
Lockdowns have a role to play.
Masks have a role to play.
Social distancing has a role to play.
But you can't just go at it half-arsed and expect to be successful... everyone needs to be on board and do their bit..

A point that can't be argued with, lockdowns only slowed the pace of the virus. If everything stayed open, California and many other states would have been past this point already. Adam Carolla is the King of common sense. Believe it or not he actually identifies as being more of a Liberal than anything else. A Liberal that hasn't been ruined by the Left.
