He more or less revived free-market economics and rescued it from the swamp of Keynesian thought. He also helped jump-start the economies several Eastern European countries that had no idea which way to turn once the Iron Curtain fell. “This free market... how you set prices with no planning commission?” He had Estonia and Moldavia up and running within a decade.
