They should instead be examining the decision to lockdown.

The lockdown was done by fiat, not by rational decision. It was only rational in the sense that at the time, very little was known about the level of threat.

The Left immediately recognized the opportunity to fan the flames of fear - with the media first in line to reverse their miserable record of distrust by the public and boost sagging viewership.

In spite of growing clear evidence that COVID-19 sweeps the deck clean of the dying more effectively than the flu, but targets almost no one else, the Left and the media continued to muddy the truth with sensational claims.

The Left successfully forced the lockdown and masking down our throats, in spite of thousands of whistleblowing doctors and healthcare professionals warning us of the dangers to the healthy population of doing so.

Why? Because it fits the philosophy that greater government control must be established for "our own good," whether or not we think so, and that its a good thing. Anyone who has had to deal with a Federal or State bureaucracy knows differently.
