it was this act that created the US Dept of Homeland Security - the biggest threat to civil liberties EVER.
We allowed Bush / Gov't to substitute DHS (an obviously UN-constitutional gov't over reach) for a little sense of "safety and security" during a time when We The People were rightfully feeling a but vulnerable.
As Ben Franklin famously said: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety"

Today we find ourselves with neither safety (the enemy is within) nor essential Liberty (shut downs, masks, vaccines, coup d' tat, FISA and dozens of other un-costitutional intrusions into our lives)

It's gone too far already.
