SCIENCE Q&A

What are the odds against my body being made up of this specific set of quarks?
Your body is made up of particles and particles are conversions the brain made from wave-state information. You don’t see through your eyes. It’s an illusion.

Is it possible for an object to be accelerating and at rest at the same time? Why?
You need to understand what a moving object is, first. It’s a perceptual illusion by our brain refreshing event frames. Think of a football being kicked in a movie about football. That football is really a series of separate footballs seamed together to appear as one moving football.

If stars far away are already burnt out but we are still receiving their light as being alive, should we consider them burned out or active? Both sides seem to have reasonable even philosophical backings.
You don’t see into the past. What you see is what is happening now.
IF
space and time have a directly proportional relationship
AND IF
time stops at the speed of light
THEN
there is no distance for light to travel at the speed of light
space/time equivalency means: 0 time = 0 distance

How do we calculate force on a body when there is no acceleration produced? For example, when pushing a wall we exert force but how can we calculate it using F=ma?
There is an acceleration. How fast would you be if you were pushing and that wall wasn’t there? That wall is accelerating you to a stop.

How does gravity form? Why does strong gravity affect time?
Gravity doesn’t form. Force is caused by an object’s mass being accelerated as shown in Newton’s equation for force: f=ma
