On behalf of my late father and all the brave men and women who served today is VJ Day. It’s been 75 years since he finally was able to return home to his mother after leaving Britain at 18 and returning home almost 6 years later. The terror that all parties endured on both sides I hope is never repeated. Thank you for your service
