FB appears to only be "fact-checking" in one direction. Anyone else notice this? Trying to FIND the actual facts, for citing purposes, via web searches is proving difficult these days. Is this going to be the new book burning where no one knows what anything is anymore?

Follow the funding path for the "fact-checker" orgz and you will see who gets to decide what is true or false

The internet is full of independent studies on a multitude of subjects. The fact checking sites save time.
For example?
There's quite a few fact checking sites. Some specialise in specific areas, politics for example...[politifact.com] others generalise.
A more comprehensive list is available here...[guides.lib.berkeley.edu]
Who is behind politifact? Hmmm.....now you know
[corbettreport.com]
The IFCN is led by Alexios Mantzarlis, who joined Poynter after co-founding and editing Pagella Politica, an Italian political fact-checking website.
Poynter’s IFCN has received funding from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, the Duke Reporters’ Lab, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Google, the National Endowment for Democracy, the Omidyar Network, the Open Society Foundations and the Park Foundation.
@BubbaLouie Facts are facts, Truth is always truth. What's your point?
@BubbaLouieOne is always able to do the footwork by oneself, fact checking sites just saves time, not alter the facts. If you think that statement isn't true, give an example.
@BubbaLouie List of donors, e.t.c behind politifact. bad arguments don't change facts,

@maxmaccc I already made my point...follow the money...the donors...the people behind the fact sites. They get to influence....you never bothered to watch the video did you? This is not a debate...it's an argument with duck-fucker!
Twitter and youtube both do a better job of citing sources.
Aah and so begins my dictionary conspiracy I’m trying to get off the ground
