Hello there. I also find the comments interesting.

Living in ivory towers tends to make people lose touch with the real world.

"Ever since the days of Plato and Aristotle, intellectuals have been telling us that their contribution to society is more valuable than that of any other group. Where, Nozick asks, does this sense of entitlement come from?
"His answer: it starts at school, where intellectual brilliance is rewarded with praise and good grades. By the time “verbally bright children” graduate from formal education, they have been inculcated with a sense of their greater value in comparison to their less intellectually gifted peers, which then leads them to expect society at large to operate according to the same norms."

I think it is much simpler.

Criminals, as a rule, do not allow competition. Criminals, as a rule, will either enslave their competition, enjoin the competition (become one, not many), or eliminate their competition by killing it.

Criminals are very skilled at doing a few things very well.

  1. Deceive
  2. Threaten
  3. Assault

Their rules, their skills, their thoughts and their actions tend toward a Monopoly of Power and Production, where their victims are considered to be CONSUMABLE property.

Like rats on a sinking ship of their own making the tendency is to move from a natural order of creativity, productivity, adaptivity, sustainability, and ever higher quality of life at an ever lower cost of living, moving to ONE last RAT on the sinking ship attempting to eliminate the last competitor in the Crime Game that proceeds according to Criminal Rules.

Plato was one of the first "intellectual" criminals working to Monopolize Power and Profit through deception, threat, and violence on paper, there were almost certainly many examples before him.

Once in power the criminals must destroy free thought, free action, and free markets, as a rule, and to do so they must impose their will upon each successive generation as explained well enough by John Taylor Gatto and his discovery of The Six Purposes of Public (criminal) Schooling.

"The Six Purposes of Schooling" - John Taylor Gatto
“How can you establish weather someone has successfully developed this automatic reaction, because people have a proclivity when they are given sensible orders to follow? That is not what they want to reach. The only way to measure this is to give stupid orders, and people automatically follow those. Now you have achieved function one.”

So "intellectuals" who "hate" and "fear" competition will do whatever is required (lie, threaten, torture, murder) anyone who dares to express free thought, free action, and live in free markets: LIBERTY.

If they are "taught" is a school system built for "leaders," then they are taught how to employ Criminal Rules in the Dominant Criminal Organization, that flies a false flag of lawful authority. If, on the other hand, they are "taught" in a school system built for targets/slaves/consumables, then they are taught how to obey every order no matter how evil, or self-defeating, doing so without question.
